Junk Removal in Lodi, CA

Lodi sits on Highway 99 at the north end of San Joaquin County, surrounded by vineyards along the Mokelumne River. The older streets around downtown and School Street have bungalows and detached garages; the west side has newer neighborhoods with bigger lots.

We've done eighteen jobs in Lodi so far. This September it was a large five-piece sectional, a couple of trash bags, a plastic piece from an old car and several chairs, about half a load. The same month, a single loveseat.

Bedroom furniture comes up often. In August we took a queen mattress, a king foam pad and a box spring, plus about a pickup's worth of things from the garage.

Garages are the biggest share of our Lodi work. In July we cleared a garage full of accumulated garbage and odds and ends, and in December another garage with a chair, cardboard and household items.

Other Lodi jobs have included a shed removal in June, a storage cleanout and a yard cleanup in March, and a couch with a small fridge last December.

Downtown Lodi's older homes often have narrow driveways and garages at the back of the lot, reached by an alley. We park where we won't block neighbors and carry things out to the truck.

Wine-country living means a lot of patio furniture, barrels used as planters and outdoor bars that eventually wear out. When they do, they can all go in one load, and any metal hoops or frames are recycled.

Families downsizing from larger homes on the west side call us to clear furniture that won't fit their new place. Anything in good shape is set aside for donation.
